The Earth story: Din and Rose

Kasama "Din" Wathinwanit comes home from abroad to take charge of her family's land in Chiang Rai. Next door, Rose (Thippapha Amornjinda) returns to the Chomchan farm after her stepfather Thipakorn's suspicious car accident, and finds the neighboring vineyard owners, Wasupol and his son Wasu, moving to take the estate from her.

To protect both properties, the childhood friends agree to marry. What starts as an arrangement becomes a real partnership as old rivalries resurface, and Din turns into the steady support Rose never knew she needed.

Earth comes first. It grounds the house that the other three stories are built on.

As the opener, it also introduces the other cousins, Nam, Lom and Fai, before each gets her own series. Keep watching with The Water, The Air and The Fire.

The Earth episode guide

Eight Saturdays on Channel 7 HD. Open an episode for its recap — spoilers for that episode inside.

1Episode 1 · Rose Comes HomeSaturday 24 January 2026Recap

Wasupol of Nubanun Farm presses Thip, who runs Chomchan Farm, to honor an old arrangement between their fathers and marry his son Wasu to Thip's daughter Rose. Thip refuses and says the choice is Rose's alone — and privately tells Din what she has found: Wasupol is trafficking women across the border and wants Chomchan's land for the route. Thip's car crashes on the way to the police station, and from her hospital bed she asks Din to look after Rose and keep her away from Wasu. Rose flies home from the United States to find her father still unconscious after surgery, and Wasu waiting for her on the road.

2Episode 2 · Choosing DinSaturday 31 January 2026Recap

Wasupol walks Rose around his farm, a fire breaks out mid-tour, and Din's people pull her out. When Rose asks why, Din lays it out: the trafficking, the land, and the fact that the accident followed a refusal. Rose remembers who looked after her when they were children and decides to trust her. She moves to Saenrak Farm, and when Wasu forces his way in looking for her, Din meets him with a gun and a warning shot. Driving back from Chiang Mai, Din notices a motorcycle holding her speed behind her.

3Episode 3 · The ArrangementSaturday 7 February 2026Recap

The motorcycle catches up and Din is attacked; her cousin Lom, the officer of the family, reaches her in time. It is Lom who suggests the arrangement — marry Rose and the land stops being reachable through her. Din puts it to Rose badly, Rose walks out, then hears the reasoning from Lom and comes back with a yes. They set the terms: nobody learns it is staged, they tell each other where they are, they register legally with a separate property agreement, and Rose can end it whenever she wants. Wedding planning begins, Wasu takes the news badly, and his father asks for a meeting.

4Episode 4 · The WeddingSaturday 14 February 2026Recap

Wasupol arrives at the farm claiming Din forced Rose into it, and Rose shuts him down in front of everyone by saying she chose this. Then it is wedding photos, a new ring from Rose, and Din fainting when the guests start calling for a kiss. They spend the wedding night in separate beds in the same room, and Din is up early making breakfast. When Wasupol starts a rumor that the marriage is a business move, the two of them go shopping in the market and make a point of being obvious about each other. The honeymoon follows, with Nam quietly arranging the room.

5Episode 5 · HoneymoonSaturday 21 February 2026Recap

Honeymoon, and the arrangement keeps getting harder to remember. Rose learns Thai massage for her father's sake, they take ATVs onto the sand, and when a major client pulls out Din comes home drunk and Rose takes care of her. Moddaeng passes on three pieces of advice for winning a wife over and Rose uses all of them. At a hotel opening in Chiang Mai, Rose watches someone get close to Din and stakes her claim in public — then admits, drunk, exactly how jealous she is.

6Episode 6 · Fire and ConfessionSaturday 28 February 2026Recap

Someone sets the Saenrak office on fire with Din inside, and Rose runs into it without thinking. After that there is no pretending. Din tells her cousins how she feels, they offer terrible advice, and she says it to Rose anyway — this time as the truth rather than the arrangement. The police tie the arson to Wasupol's operation, which turns out to run deeper than trafficking, and a raid breaks part of it. Then Wasupol hires a gunman, Din is shot outside a seminar in the city, and she says it again with Rose holding her. The investigation points to someone on the farm feeding information out.

7Episode 7 · The MoleSaturday 7 March 2026Recap

Din survives the shooting, and word comes that Rose's father has woken up — news they agree to keep quiet. Lom has suspected Kaew for a while, so the three of them stage a trip to Chiang Mai to draw Wasu out. Kaew takes the bait and walks Rose into the meeting place, the police are already in position, and Wasu's men are taken, though Wasu himself gets away. Din lets Kaew go rather than press charges, and only sends her off the farm. The evidence against Wasupol and his son holds up, but both slip the manhunt, and Fai covers while Din and Rose move again.

8Episode 8 · ChomRakSaturday 14 March 2026Recap

Cornered, Wasu and his father force a choice by putting Kaew and Rose in the same room as the gun. Kaew is shot shielding them and survives; Wasu is left without the use of his legs, and Wasupol's body is found in the forest near the border. Rose moves to Bangkok for her father's treatment and Din stays behind, arranging help for them both without saying so. When Din finally turns up at Rose's door, they stop misunderstanding each other. Her father gives them his blessing, Din proposes where they first met, and the two farms become one — ChomRak.
