The Air story: Lom and Princess Blew

Police Lieutenant Vayo "Lom" Wathinwanit is the air cousin of the Wathinwanit house, serving under Police General Wathit Wathinwanit. Princess Catherine Blew de Laina de Madeline is a visiting royal who survives an assassination attempt on Thai soil. Lom is handed the protection detail, and neither of them wants it.

What follows is the anthology's action entry: a security operation that turns into an investigation when an impostor surfaces and nobody around the princess can be taken at face value. Becky plays both women — Blew and Helena — so the question of who Lom is actually protecting runs the length of the series. Duty, rank and royal protocol pull in one direction; what the two of them feel pulls in the other.

Air moves through everything and belongs to nobody. That is the whole problem with loving a princess.

The Air is the third series of four, following The Water and leading into the finale, The Fire. For Freen and Becky's full careers beyond this series, see FreenBecky Media.

The Air episode guide

Eight Saturdays on Channel 7 HD. Open an episode for its recap — spoilers for that episode inside.

1Episode 1 · Welcome to The AirSaturday 16 May 2026Recap

Lom is handed the assignment she does not want: protecting Princess Blew of Madelin during her visit to Thailand. The job goes wrong fast. A plot reaching into the princess's own circle leaves her drugged and taken away to be killed, and Lom's rescue is only half a victory — because the woman standing in Blew's place afterward is not Blew at all. The impostor is the thread the rest of the series pulls on.

2Episode 2 · Closer DistanceSaturday 23 May 2026Recap

Suea's men find the safehouse and come for the princess. Lom fights her way out with Blew beside her and runs a decoy south while taking the real escape route north, buying them a hiding place and some time. Forced into each other's company with nobody else to trust, the officer and the princess start to look at each other differently — which neither of them can afford.

3Episode 3 · Hidden HeartSaturday 30 May 2026Recap

Police General Wathit orders Lom off the case, and the convoy he sends in her place is ambushed and shredded. Lom, who followed anyway, reaches Blew in the middle of it. The two go to ground in Hua Hin, hitching rides on vegetable trucks to stay invisible. Somewhere between the ambush and the road south, the princess who kept pushing Lom away admits she needs her.

4Episode 4 · Crossing the LineSaturday 6 June 2026Recap

Hua Hin stops being safe when assassins move in, and Lom smuggles Blew out in a laundry truck to a private island where nobody is looking for them. Away from the palace and the protocol, Blew stops behaving like a princess with a bodyguard, and the distance between them finally closes. It does not last — the people hunting her are already working out where she went.

5Episode 5 · Drifting CloserSaturday 13 June 2026Recap

On the island they live as Wind and Pudpa, two people with no titles, and for a few days it works. Then Suea's crew lands and the raid turns into a chase across open water. Lom draws them off to give Blew a chance, takes a bullet for it, and goes into the sea. The episode ends with the princess diving in after her.

6Episode 6 · Confessed HeartSaturday 20 June 2026Recap

Blew gets Lom out of the water alive, but the hospital is not safe either — Henri walks in to finish the job, and they run again, this time into the mountains. Cornered and out of moves, Lom finally says what she has been holding back since the first safehouse. Neither of them knows that the next trap is already laid.

7Episode 7 · Bleeding LoveSaturday 27 June 2026Recap

Wathit's plan to draw the conspiracy out turns on him: Henri gets ahead of it and takes Blew hostage. Lom goes in through gunfire and is badly hurt getting her back out, and then Grace steps forward with a grudge of her own and fires at Blew in front of her. What follows is the goodbye neither of them wanted, with the crown sitting between them.

8Episode 8 · Final EpisodeSaturday 4 July 2026Recap

Vayo travels to Madelin to say it properly, once, and finds a wall of duty waiting. Blew is about to take the throne, and she meets Lom with the composure the role demands rather than the answer either of them wants. The finale leaves both women choosing between what they feel and what is expected of them, and it does not make that choice easy on anyone watching.
